Location and Facilities
The position is based at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital, located at Burrell Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH16 1UD. Opened in 1993, our hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. The facility features three operating theatres (including one laminar flow), comprehensive outpatient facilities, a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department, and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward.
Role Responsibilities
As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Being part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
- Acting as the first point of contact to make appropriate patient assessments prior to surgery
- Demonstrating a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure optimal patient care

- Building experience across new practices, equipment, and facilities

Essential Qualifications
