Key Responsibilities
The Specialist in Frailty will lead comprehensive geriatric assessments at the emergency care front door, ensuring rapid holistic evaluation of medical needs, functional status, cognition, and social factors. Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. Entry on the Specialist Register via CCT (with proposed CCT date within six months of interview), CESR, or European Community Rights.
Essential Experience:
Completion of training program acceptable to the Royal College of Physicians. Demonstrated ability to deliver services without direct supervision and current knowledge ensuring safe clinical practice. Experience appropriate to Consultant level in Geriatrics and General Medicine.

Expertise in comprehensive geriatric assessment and frailty management. Strong leadership abilities in multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary ranging from £100,870 to £111,441 per annum, pro rata. Full benefits include NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, comprehensive health insurance, and professional development funding. Additional allowances may apply for on-call duties.
