Compensation Package

Work Schedule
This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts available during early morning, morning, day, evening, and night hours, as well as weekends. Key Responsibilities
As a Server at Andrea’s Hotel, you will be the face of our dining establishment, responsible for creating positive experiences for our guests. Your primary duties will include greeting patrons, presenting menus, making recommendations regarding food and beverages, and taking orders to relay to kitchen and bar staff.
Customer Service Excellence
You will provide exceptional customer service by addressing customers’ complaints or concerns, assisting clients and guests with special needs, and ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. Clear communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential for success in this role.
Food and Beverage Knowledge
You will be responsible for describing menu items including daily specials, advising on menu selections, and describing and advising on wine selection. A good understanding of food preparation methods and beverage service will enhance your ability to provide recommendations to our guests.
Payment Processing
Accurate handling of financial transactions is a critical aspect of this position, including presenting bills to customers and accepting payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings. Proficiency with electronic cash register and point of sale system operations is required.
Maintaining Cleanliness
You will ensure a clean and organized dining environment by clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs promptly. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation is essential for both guest satisfaction and health compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with electronic cash register and point of sale systems. While formal education requirements are not specified, a strong foundation in customer service, food safety, and beverage service knowledge will be beneficial for success in this role.
