Job Overview
Windermere Music Academy Inc is looking for experienced piano teachers to provide private, conservatory, or studio lessons to our diverse student population. Compensation and Schedule
Our piano teachers receive a competitive hourly rate of $36.00 per hour, working an average of 35 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and includes daytime, evening, and weekend hours to accommodate various student needs. This is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity to grow within our organization.
Position Overview
We are seeking two piano teachers to join our team immediately. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality piano instruction to students ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Our curriculum includes private lessons, group classes, and may include preparation for examinations and performances.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this position include preparing, administering, and marking tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress. Teachers will develop and implement personalized teaching materials and course outlines tailored to each student’s musical goals and abilities.
Instructional Leadership
As a piano teacher at Windermere Music Academy, you will be responsible for leading and instructing groups of students in various musical activities, including ensemble playing, music theory classes, and performance preparation. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires students to develop their musical talents.
Student Assessment and Progress Documentation
Regular evaluation and documentation of students’ progress are essential components of this role. Teachers will maintain detailed records of student achievements, areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents or guardians. This documentation helps track student development and informs instructional approaches.
Required Qualifications
While specific educational requirements are not specified, candidates should possess strong piano performance skills and a solid understanding of music theory.
