We are currently seeking a skilled Painter to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Position Details
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $36.00. The position requires 35 hours of work per week, with the work location being on-site at various client properties throughout Milton and the surrounding area. The position is available immediately, and we have one vacancy to fill.
Key Responsibilities
As a Painter at Renovaint, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted. This includes repairing cracks and holes in walls and other surfaces to ensure a smooth finish. You will mix paint to achieve desired colors and textures, and measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric materials to walls.
Client Interaction
Part of your role will involve advising consumers on colors and choices of wall coverings. This requires good communication skills and an eye for design. You will work directly with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional recommendations that meet their aesthetic needs and budget considerations.
Technical Skills Required
The position requires technical expertise in erecting scaffolding and swing stages, as well as attaching rigging for working at heights. You will apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces. This knowledge of various application techniques is essential for delivering high-quality results.
Project Management
You will be responsible for estimating costs and materials for painting projects. This requires attention to detail and good mathematical skills. Accurate estimation ensures that projects are completed within budget and that materials are properly managed throughout the painting process.
Work Environment
Our painters work in various environments, from residential homes to commercial buildings. You may be working indoors in finished spaces or outdoors in different weather conditions. The ability to adapt to different environments and work conditions is essential for success in this role.
Physical Requirements
