Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team at Renovaint. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to grow with our company. This position is based in Milton, Ontario, with our main office located at 285 Gleave Terrace, Milton, ON L9T 8N9. The work is primarily on-site at various client locations throughout the Milton area and surrounding communities. You will have the opportunity to work in diverse environments, from residential homes to commercial properties, gaining valuable experience with different materials and architectural styles.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $36.00 per hour for this position. The standard work schedule is 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities available. Key Responsibilities
As a Painter with Renovaint, your responsibilities will include preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes. You will mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures, apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces with precision, and ensure a professional finish on every project.
Surface Preparation
You will be responsible for thoroughly preparing surfaces to be painted, which includes cleaning, sanding, and repairing any cracks, holes, or imperfections. Proper surface preparation is essential for achieving a durable and professional finish, and attention to detail in this step will significantly impact the quality of your work.
Paint Mixing and Application
Mixing paint to achieve desired colors and textures is a key aspect of this role. You will need to have a good eye for color matching and the ability to adjust paint consistency as needed. Applying paint to both interior and exterior surfaces requires steady hands, proper technique, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Wallpaper Installation
In addition to painting, you will measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric materials to walls. This requires precision in measurement, careful cutting techniques, and knowledge of proper application methods to ensure a seamless and professional result. Experience with various types of wallpaper and wall coverings is essential.
Customer Consultation

Required Skills and Qualifications
