Compensation Package
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $30.00 per hour for a 40-hour work week, plus an additional 10% commission on all services and products you sell. Education Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Manicurist’s provincial license to be considered for this position. This certification demonstrates your professional qualification and adherence to industry standards and regulations. If you are an internationally trained professional, we can provide information on the licensing process in British Columbia to help you qualify for this position.
Experience Requirements
We are seeking candidates with experience as an Esthetician, Manicurist, Pedicurist, and Nail and lashes applicator. Previous experience in a spa or salon environment is highly desirable. We value professionals who have a strong understanding of nail care techniques, client consultation, and customer service excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Nail Care Technician at Lan Nails Spa, you will be responsible for applying and removing artificial nails, including various nail art techniques. This requires precision, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction and safety.
Advanced Nail Services
You will provide comprehensive nail care services including manicures and pedicures, utilizing high-quality products and following proper sanitation protocols. Your expertise will help clients achieve healthy, beautiful nails while enjoying a relaxing experience.
Foot Care Specialization
Position includes providing therapeutic foot massage services, combining technical skill with the ability to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients. This specialized service requires knowledge of foot anatomy, massage techniques, and client comfort.
Esthetic Services
In addition to nail care, you will perform facial treatments tailored to client needs. This requires knowledge of different skin types, appropriate products, and effective application techniques to enhance client skin health and appearance.
Body Treatments
You will provide relaxation massage services focusing on stress relief and muscle tension reduction. Additionally, you will perform waxing services for various areas of the body, requiring proper technique and client communication skills.
Product Knowledge
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of nail care products, treatments, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients and effectively promote retail products that complement your services.
Client Consultation
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any contraindications before providing services. This includes reviewing medical history and discussing appropriate treatment options.
Sterilization and Safety
Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and safety protocols, including proper cleaning and disinfection of tools and equipment, proper disposal of waste materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
