The Role

The CAMHS DBT service works with young people across Hertfordshire who are struggling with managing emotions and high-risk behaviors. Clinical Leadership

The post holder has the responsible clinician role (RC) for all young people in the caseload until discharge from the service. You will support and maintain engagement while young people present with high complexities, remaining as RC during additional interventions such as home treatment team intervention or admission under the brief admissions pathway at Forest House Inpatient Adolescent unit.

Team Collaboration

You will join individual therapists in interventions with the required frequency and work closely as a mini team when young people’s risk rag rating is increasing. The post also involves administrative duties associated with patient care, reliable written communications to General Medical practitioners, and accurate recording of clinical activity.

Professional Development

The successful candidate will participate in various medical staff meetings within the Trust, perform duties in occasional emergencies, and engage in regular audit and quality assurance programmes.
