Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation at $36.00 per hour for 30 hours per week. Position Details
The Landscaping Supervisor position is based at our location at 592 Knottwood Road West NW, Edmonton, AB T6K 1W8. This is an on-site position with work primarily conducted outdoors in various locations throughout the Edmonton area. The position is available to start as soon as possible, and we are looking to fill one vacancy at this time.
Key Responsibilities
As a Landscaping Supervisor at Green Haven Landscaping, you will be responsible for overseeing various landscaping projects from conception to completion. Your primary duties will include direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, organizing planting activities, scheduling work assignments, and planning and directing grounds maintenance operations.
Project Management
You will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising landscape construction work. This includes estimating labor and materials requirements, creating project timelines, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership
The position involves supervising a team of 3-4 landscaping professionals. You will be responsible for assigning tasks, providing on-the-job training, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Resource Management
Effective resource management is crucial in this role. You will need to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, manage inventory levels, and ensure that resources are used efficiently to maximize profitability.
Problem Solving
