Position Details
The Housekeeping Supervisor position is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options. The position is based at our main location at 12002 100 Street, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 4H5. We currently have two vacancies available, and we’re looking for motivated individuals who can start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
Staff Management
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for hiring and training cleaning staff or arranging for their training. You will supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 workers, establish work schedules, and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities. You’ll also assist cleaners in performing duties when needed and foster a positive, productive work environment.
Quality Assurance
Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety is a primary responsibility. You will inspect sites and facilities regularly to verify that all safety and cleanliness standards are being met. This attention to detail helps maintain the exceptional experience that our guests have come to expect from Wild Rose Country Inn.
Operational Coordination
The Housekeeping Supervisor will coordinate work activities with other departments, ensuring seamless operations throughout the inn. This collaboration with front desk, maintenance, and food service teams is essential to maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Budget and Resource Management
This role includes preparing budget and cost estimates for housekeeping operations. You’ll need to make informed decisions about resource allocation, ensuring that we maintain cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality. Facility Maintenance
You will recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment. Qualifications and Requirements
Experience
