Position Details
Job Title: Family Doctor
We are looking for a licensed physician specializing in family medicine to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages.
Location: Calgary, Alberta T3R 0N2

Salary: $99,999 annually
This position offers a competitive annual salary of $99,999 for a 40-hour work week, with potential for additional earnings through various incentive programs and patient volume bonuses.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Licensure
Candidates must possess licensure by provincial or territorial authorities in Canada. This includes certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Additional language skills are considered an asset, particularly languages commonly spoken in Calgary’s diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
The Family Doctor will examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries, order appropriate laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment plans.
Treatment and Medication Management
Responsibilities include prescribing and administering medications and treatments, providing emergency care when necessary, and coordinating or managing primary patient care for comprehensive treatment outcomes.
Patient Education and Support
The successful candidate will advise patients on healthcare matters, provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues, and supervise home care services when required.
Healthcare Planning
Participation in healthcare policy and planning initiatives is expected, contributing to the continuous improvement of our medical services and patient care standards.
