We are currently seeking a qualified Daycare Worker Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
As a Daycare Worker Assistant, you will have several important responsibilities that contribute to the daily operations of our childcare center and the wellbeing of the children in our care. Your role will be diverse and rewarding, involving both direct care of children and support for our educational programs.
Daily Child Care Duties
Your primary responsibilities will include providing hands-on care for infants and toddlers, which involves bathing, diapering, and feeding. You will also guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, helping them achieve important developmental milestones in a supportive environment.
Support for Educational Programs
You will assist our early childhood educators in implementing educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes engaging children in various activities such as telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts that stimulate learning and creativity.
Administrative Support
In addition to direct child care, you will assist early childhood educators and supervisors in maintaining accurate records and documentation. This includes submitting written observations on children’s development and progress, which helps us tailor our programs to meet each child’s individual needs.
Team Collaboration
Regular attendance at staff meetings is required to discuss children’s progress, address any concerns, and collaborate with team members on improving our childcare services. Your input and insights as a team member are valued as we work together to provide the best possible care for children.
Facility Maintenance
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious snacks for children and arranging rooms or furniture appropriately for lunch and rest periods. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment is essential for the wellbeing of both children and staff.
Required Qualifications
