Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team in a permanent full-time capacity. Salary and Hours

Key Responsibilities
Menu Planning and Cost Control
Determine appropriate food portion sizes and calculate accurate food costs to maintain profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Plan creative menus and estimate food requirements for successful execution, contributing your culinary expertise to our menu development process.
Inventory Management
Requisition high-quality food ingredients and kitchen supplies while maintaining careful inventory control. Keep detailed records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize waste.
Food Preparation and Cooking
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes showcasing authentic Szechuan and Thai flavors, along with other international cuisines. Your expertise in these culinary traditions will be essential to maintaining our restaurant’s reputation for authentic, high-quality dishes.
Special Dietary Requirements
Prepare customized dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, demonstrating care and attention to detail in meeting diverse dietary needs while maintaining flavor and quality standards.
Quality Assurance
Regularly inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain our commitment to excellence by ensuring all food meets our rigorous quality standards before service.
Staff Training and Supervision
Train and mentor kitchen staff and helpers in proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices. Supervise team members to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
Kitchen Management
Manage daily kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring smooth service during busy periods. Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular cleaning of kitchen and work areas.
Required Qualifications
Education and Certifications
Valid Food Safety Certificate is mandatory, demonstrating your commitment to safe food handling practices. First Aid Certificate is required to ensure workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
Culinary Experience
