Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $17.85 for all our kitchen staff. Work Schedule
This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts available throughout the morning, day, evening, night, and weekends. The standard work week is 40 hours, with overtime required during peak periods. We operate on a shift-based system that may include on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
As a Cook at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to our high standards. Your duties will include creating dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed. You’ll inspect kitchen and food service areas regularly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Inventory and Supply Management
You will be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment needed for kitchen operations, maintaining accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment. This includes monitoring stock levels, identifying when items need to be reordered, and contributing to cost control efforts by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
Team Supervision
