Position Details
We are currently seeking 10 motivated Construction Labourers to join our seasonal team starting April 1, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for immigrants and newcomers to Canada to gain valuable Canadian work experience in the construction sector while earning a competitive wage.
Job Location
1230 91 St SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 0P2. All work will be performed on-site at various construction locations throughout the Edmonton area. Reliable transportation to the main office location is required.
Salary and Compensation
$26.00 to $27.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience). This position offers 30 to 55 hours per week, providing excellent earning potential. Additionally, we offer financial bonuses for exceptional performance and project completion.
Employment Terms
Seasonal full-time employment from April through October 2026. This seasonal schedule is perfect for those who want to work during Canada’s construction season while having flexibility during winter months.
Work Schedule
Early morning, morning, day, and weekend shifts available. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate various needs, making this an ideal position for those balancing work with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites. You will read and interpret blueprints to understand work requirements and project specifications.
Construction Site Operations
You will erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to safety standards and project requirements. Leveling earth to fine grade specifications is a crucial part of maintaining project quality.
Site Maintenance and Safety
Your duties will include cleaning and piling salvaged materials for reuse or proper disposal. You will remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Equipment Operation
You will tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring proper operation and reporting any maintenance needs. Performing routine maintenance work on tools and equipment is essential for project efficiency.
Traffic Management
Directing traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public is a critical responsibility that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
