Job Description
Responsibilities
Load, unload and transport construction materials.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
Mix, pour and spread materials like concrete and asphalt.
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
Level earth to fine grade specifications.
Assist in demolishing buildings.
Clean and pile salvaged materials.
Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
Tend or feed construction machines and equipment.
Direct traffic near construction zones.
Required Tools and Experience
Experience with: Concrete vibrators, Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Grinding machines, Grouting machines, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Augers, Chain saws, Compactors, Sandblasters, Sledgehammers, Hand tools.
Work experience in: Driveways, Industrial projects, Commercial buildings, Institutional structures, Residential construction, Poured concrete work, Roofing projects.
