About the Role

The Clinical Director of Imaging position is a senior leadership role responsible for providing clinical management leadership and setting strategic direction within the imaging directorate. This role ensures that high quality and timely care of patients remains the highest priority, in line with the Care Group’s strategy.

You will take responsibility for performance delivery and performance management of medical staff, including job planning of clinicians. The role involves sharing responsibility for the Imaging budget and efficient deployment of the Clinical Business Unit’s resources with the Head of Operations and Head of Nursing.

Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Director will work as part of a multidisciplinary directorate leadership team with responsibility for Clinical Governance within the Department. You will collaborate with the directorate leadership team to develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with the overall Care Group and Trust strategies.
