Primary Responsibilities

As a Clinical Administrator, you will coordinate clinical appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the practice. Your role will include assisting with online Patient Access systems, handling patient registrations and de-registrations in accordance with NHS guidelines.

You will process prescription requests, handle all DNA (Did Not Attend) letters according to current policy, and manage Out of Hours notifications and Death notifications within practice guidelines. Communication and Support

You will act as a primary point of contact for patient queries directed to the clinical team, providing professional and courteous responses. The role requires processing incoming and outgoing email and post efficiently, ensuring timely communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and external organisations. You will also provide general administrative support to clinical staff as requested.

Secondary Responsibilities

In addition to your primary duties, you may be called upon to support the wider administrative, coding, and reception teams during staff absences.
