Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and HR-related tasks. Your duties will include arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other company events. You’ll assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures while coordinating HR activities to ensure organizational goals are met. The role requires coordinating information flow within the team, directing and controlling daily operations, and evaluating operational efficiency.
Administrative Duties
Daily administrative responsibilities will include opening and distributing mail, planning and controlling budgets, planning and organizing daily operations, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, recording minutes of meetings, and determining office procedures. You’ll supervise other workers, schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and electronic enquiries, oversee communication strategies, compile data and statistics, and prepare reports. Additionally, you’ll order office supplies, arrange travel, greet visitors, maintain filing systems, type correspondence, conduct research, and provide customer service.
HR and Personnel Functions
In your HR capacity, you’ll plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, manage training and development initiatives, negotiate collective agreements, oversee payroll administration, recruit and hire workers, and carry out staffing actions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and managing digital databases with 3-4 direct reports, making this a supervisory role with significant responsibility for team coordination and performance management.
