Key Responsibilities
As our Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive budgets to determine costs of food ingredients, alcohol, kitchen supplies, and cleaning materials. You will monitor revenues to optimize labor costs and ensure financial efficiency.
Operational Management
Your role includes planning and organizing daily operations, setting staff work schedules, and determining the types of services to be offered. You will implement operational procedures that maintain our high standards of service excellence.
Financial Management
You will handle cash balancing, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation. This includes conducting regular financial reviews and implementing cost-control measures.
Staff Management
Conduct performance reviews for team members, provide coaching and mentorship, and foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
Regulatory Compliance
Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and maintaining proper licensing documentation.
Inventory Management
Organize and maintain inventory systems, implement stock control procedures, and ensure optimal inventory levels to support smooth operations.
Health and Safety
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Supplier Relations
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, building strong relationships with vendors while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Client Relations
Negotiate with clients for catering services or facility use, developing customized packages that meet client needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Marketing Participation
Participate in marketing plan development and implementation, contributing ideas for promotions, events, and community engagement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
