We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Carpet Installers to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
As a Carpet Installer with Exhibit Floor Designs Ltd, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of flooring installation tasks. Your primary duties will include inspecting, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, ensuring precise installations that meet our exacting quality standards. You will measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding according to project specifications, preparing the foundation for beautiful, long-lasting flooring installations.
Installation Expertise
Your responsibilities will extend to preparing flooring plans and scheduling, ensuring efficient project execution. You will measure, cut, and install carpeting on various surfaces, including floors, walls, and other vertical applications. The role includes performing direct glue-down carpet installations and double-bond carpet installations, as well as installing outdoor carpets and materials on counter tops and raised platforms. This diversity of applications will allow you to develop and refine your installation skills across multiple flooring types and settings.
Flooring Specialization
In addition to carpet installation, our Carpet Installers are expected to measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings such as vinyl, linoleum, and other similar materials. You will also prepare and install hardwood floors, bringing warmth and elegance to residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will be called upon to inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, extending the life of existing flooring and providing value to our clients through your repair skills.
Preparation and Planning
Proper preparation is essential for successful flooring installations, and this role includes preparing floors for installations by ensuring surfaces are clean, level, and ready for covering. You will remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, creating a clean slate for new installations.
