Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee our goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction operations. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Burnaby, British Columbia, offering a competitive salary of $160,000 to $170,000 per year (to be negotiated). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our business forward while ensuring operational excellence across all areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
As General Manager, you will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. You will authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring that our organizational structure supports our strategic objectives.
Operational Leadership
You will coordinate the work of regions, divisions, and departments to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance. This includes establishing financial and administrative controls, formulating and approving promotional campaigns, and approving overall human resources planning to support our growing business needs.
Strategic Planning
The General Manager will establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that drive long-term success. You will represent Van Cheong Tea in negotiations and official functions, acting as the face of our company to key stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.
