Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team at our Victoria, BC location. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Our restaurant is conveniently located at 101-4442 West Saanich Rd, Victoria, BC V8Z 3E9. This position requires on-site work, offering a great opportunity to experience the vibrant culinary scene of Victoria while working in a supportive team environment.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $22.00 per hour for this full-time position. With 40 hours per week, this provides a stable income while allowing you to enjoy all that beautiful Victoria has to offer in your time off.

Key Responsibilities
As a Cook at Noodle Box, you will be responsible for various aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. Your primary duties will include requisitioning food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have everything needed for daily operations.
Food Preparation
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes and foods according to our established recipes and quality standards. This includes maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size for all menu items.
Kitchen Maintenance
Regular inspection of kitchens and food service areas is essential to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining a hygienic work environment that meets all health and safety standards.
Team Supervision
For more experienced candidates, there may be opportunities to supervise kitchen staff and helpers. This includes training new team members, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours.
Inventory Management
Maintaining accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment is a critical responsibility. This includes tracking inventory levels, identifying reorder needs, and helping to minimize waste through efficient stock rotation.
Cleanliness Standards
Cleaning kitchen and work areas thoroughly and regularly is essential for food safety and operational efficiency. You will be expected to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout your shift and follow proper cleaning protocols.
