This includes performing brake adjustments when necessary and conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is always in optimal operating condition.
Cargo Handling and Security
The position involves loading and unloading goods at various locations, requiring proper lifting techniques and equipment operation. You will also be responsible for tarping cargo and ensuring the safety and security of all goods during transit. This includes proper securing of loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
