Visa requirements

Adult dependants (over 18 years old) are also subject to this requirement. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
Main duties of the job
The clinical duties of the post include:
- General elective and acute (hot) reporting
- General ultrasound list
- Cardiac supervision and reporting
- Lung biopsies
- Supervision of radiology trainees
- Participation in MDMs
- Participation in on-call service
Teaching and training
Teaching and training are an integral part of this role, with responsibilities for rotating radiology trainees and subspecialty training. Participation in teaching for the radiology Master’s program (MSc) conducted at the medical school is also encouraged, providing opportunities for professional development and knowledge sharing.
Essential qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Basic medical degree
- Postgraduate qualification or appropriate specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in Radiology or equivalent
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC
- Broad experience of general acute diagnostic imaging (including trauma CT) and general outpatient imaging
Desirable qualifications and experience
Desirable:
- Higher Degree
- Audited outcomes of lung biopsy practice
- Experience of US guided IR procedures including drain insertion and biopsies
- Cardiac MRI reporting
- Research experience
- Publications
- Recognised teaching qualification
