Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive pay of $37.50 per hour with the opportunity for overtime. Key Responsibilities
As a Long Haul Truck Driver at ADP Transport Ltd., you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.
Route Planning and Navigation
You will be responsible for planning or adjusting routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices. This includes optimizing routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions while ensuring timely deliveries.
Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance

Cargo Handling and Security

You’ll also need to receive and relay information to central dispatch, coordinate with team members when driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, and obtain special permits and other documents required for international routes.
