Housekeeping Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and common areas. Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning Duties
You will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing all types of flooring throughout the hotel. This includes proper care of carpets, area rugs, and various floor surfaces. You will also dust all furniture, vacuum carpeting and upholstered furniture, and ensure draperies are maintained in excellent condition.
Bedroom Maintenance
Your role will include making beds, changing sheets, and ensuring all bedding is fresh and properly arranged. You will distribute clean towels and toiletries to all rooms, maintain adequate supplies in linen closets, and ensure all guest rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Bathroom and Kitchen Care
You will clean, disinfect, and polish all kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. This includes sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and any other bathroom or kitchen-related equipment in guest rooms and common areas.
Guest Services
As the face of our housekeeping department, you will attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information about hotel facilities, and address any customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. You will handle and report lost and found items according to hotel policy.
Additional Tasks
Your responsibilities may also include assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, laundering clothing and household linens, mending clothing and linens, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shopping for food and household supplies, washing windows, walls and ceilings, and cleaning changing rooms and showers as needed.
