Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation at $36.25 per hour based on a 35-hour work week.
Job Location
The position is based at our studio located in Lethbridge, AB T1J 2J3. This location offers a welcoming community atmosphere combined with urban amenities.
Work Schedule
The position requires availability during morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts, with the primary working hours being 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position starts as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
As a Tattoo Artist at Alberta Ink, your primary responsibilities will include creating custom designs for clients, specializing in traditional tattoo styles. You will be expected to maintain and build your own clientele by providing exceptional service and high-quality artwork.
Client Management
You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, providing excellent customer service throughout the tattoo process, and establishing rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Artistic Work
Your artistic duties will involve preparing working drawings and creating stencil patterns for tattoos. You will need to have a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in traditional tattoo design.
Studio Maintenance
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. You will be responsible for cleaning your work area, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times, and properly cleaning and maintaining tattoo machines and equipment.
Qualifications
