Key Responsibilities
Educational Activities
As a Daycare Worker, you will lead engaging educational activities including storytelling, reading sessions, teaching songs, and organizing educational outings to local points of interest. You will prepare and conduct crafts activities that stimulate children’s creativity and cognitive development.
Child Development Support
You will guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, ensuring their personal development milestones are supported. Your role includes encouraging children to express creativity through various media including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
Daily Operations
You will be responsible for preparing healthy snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment is essential to our operations and the well-being of the children in our care.
Team Collaboration
You will participate in staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and address any concerns. Working collaboratively with early childhood educators and supervisors, you will assist in keeping accurate records and documentation.
Before and After School Programs
For school-age children, you will plan and organize activities in our child-care programs before and after regular school hours, ensuring a smooth transition between school and childcare.
