Job Title: Qualified Psychologist

Cygnet Lodge Brighouse is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men. The service specializes in preparing individuals for discharge or supporting longer term optimal functioning. The emphasis is on recovery-focused care and rehabilitation within a supportive therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
As a Qualified Psychologist, you will work as part of our multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide comprehensive psychological services. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments, delivering individual and group therapy sessions, and collaboratively developing care plans with the MDT.
Professional Development
You will provide training and supervision to colleagues, offer consultation to teams, and contribute to service evaluation and development. The role also involves opportunities for clinical research and disseminating outcomes through conference presentations and publications.
Essential Qualifications
Professional Registration
Applicants must be HCPC registered as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist. International candidates must be eligible for HCPC registration, and we can provide guidance on this process.
Experience Requirements
We require experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting. Candidates should demonstrate capability in treating complex difficulties including self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, history of sexual offending, and drug and alcohol problems.
Desirable Qualifications
Specialist Training
